Services / Google Business Profile setup support

Help customers find
the right business. Yours.

Google Business Profile and local search foundations for eligible small businesses. Based in Hobart, with practical help for the places you genuinely serve.

Start with your real business details

Your name, services, phone, website, opening hours and genuine customer-facing location or service area should accurately describe the business. We discuss these details with you as part of the Google foundations included in your website plan.

Existing profile or a new beginning?

If you already have a profile, share the link in your brief. We check the starting point and discuss what access is needed. Avoid creating a second listing simply because you cannot access the first one; ownership and duplicate issues need to be resolved properly.

Eligibility and verification come first

Google determines whether a business qualifies and which verification steps apply. Some online-only businesses are not eligible. A service-area business should follow the rules for whether its address is shown. We cannot guarantee verification, reinstatement or a particular Maps position.

Connect the profile and the website

The website should explain the same services and coverage that customers see on your profile. Clear service pages, accurate contact information and helpful business details give people a consistent path from search to enquiry.

Photos and reviews need to be real

Use genuine business photographs where possible and ask customers for honest feedback. Concept images are useful for showing a design direction; they should not pretend to be photographs of your premises or completed jobs. Reviews and results must never be invented.

Foundations are a starting point

Google setup and SEO foundations are included as described in our plans. A continuing local SEO campaign, complex suspension work or an extensive content project is separate work to discuss. Our focus is accurate information and useful improvements, not selling a first-place promise.

A few practical questions

Will you guarantee a ranking?

No. Local results depend on factors including relevance, distance and prominence. We do not control Google or the location of the person searching.

Can I keep control of my profile?

Your business should retain ownership. If access is needed, use Google’s supported owner/manager access process rather than sending passwords in a website brief.

Do you offer ongoing local SEO?

Our published plans include Google setup and search foundations. Tell us if you need additional ongoing work so we can confirm scope, availability and cost before making a commitment.
